In November 2020, a small task force at Alphabet was set out to come up with improvements for 2021 that would make implementing upcoming changes easier and more efficient. The result was a refactoring project estimated to be completed in 3 months. So we started in January 2021…. and currently (end of November 2021), we are finally finishing up the main delivery. What happened? Attend this talk and we will tell you all about it, including our lessons learned. The only good reason not to attend, would be when you are absolutely sure that you will never participate in any refactoring project in the future.
