“Within GROUP9 a vitality ‘Flatten the Belly’ application was developed in 2019 complete with ranking and ‘Bas Points’. This application was run on a developers machine, so the 2.0 version was to be: big, better and realtime available for the contesters. However running an application locally is quite different than in the Cloud as the developers experienced. This talk is about some of the pitfalls we experienced and to pursue various hypes, like GCP, conversion from SpringBoot to Quarkus, using Mongo as a database. Interested? Come and join our talk!”
